Nuclear Reset menu button (very useful)
You can press the NUCLEAR RESET menu button at any time.
It wipes the memory clean and puts everything back to square one.
The current order, products and customer, will be forgotten.
This will enable you to start again.
The NUCLEAR RESET menu button is pain free. There is no effect on the database, only on the current order and short-term memory. It has the same effect as turning your PC off and on again.

Adding a new customer
Start by clicking on the CUSTOMERS menu button.
Search the database to see whether the customer is already listed.
If the customer already exists, click on the name (in blue) to start an order for that customer.
If it is a new customer, click on ADD CUSTOMER TO DATABASE.
When you have filled in the details, the CONTINUE WITH ORDER button will put this customer on the current order.

Customer details
The more customer details you add, the better.

Amending a customer
Start by clicking on the CUSTOMERS menu button.
Search the database to find the customer, and click on the green EDIT button.
The screen will turn red-ish.
Make the amendments, and press the AMEND CUSTOMER button.

Adding a product to an order
We have matched all the listings on eBay to individual products in the database.
To add one "lot" of a product to the order, click on the "+1" link.
If more than one "lot" is required, click on "+1" in the basket until the required number of "lots" is displayed.

Removing a product from an order
To remove one "lot" of a product from the basket, click on the "-1" link.
Do this as many times as required.
Once the number of "lots" is reduced to zero, the product will disappear from the basket.

Changing the quantity of a product
Use the "+1" and "-1" links in the basket.
There is no limit to how many times you can do this.

I can't find the product I want / I don't know the code
Use product code "ADMIN"
Search for "admin" in the product search field. Or choose category "Admin" in the category selector.
Then write some notes on the order to tell us what the product should be. The elves will do the rest.

Adding orders
You can add orders one by one at any time of the day or night, on any day of the week.
All new orders will be listed on the LIVE ORDERS page.
As soon as you have added an order, it appears on the LIVE ORDERS list. At that point it becomes immediately visible to the warehouse team.
The order will stay on the LIVE ORDERS page until it is despatched.
If an order is on the LIVE ORDERS page, it has not been despatched.

Amending orders
Click on the AMEND button within the order on the LIVE ORDERS page.
The screen turns red-ish to show that you are amending an order.
Change what needs to change, and follow the steps as usual.
It won't - but if it all goes wrong, just write a note on the particular order to alert us to a problem.

Despatching orders
When an order is sent, the warehouse team will despatch it.
The order will vanish completely from the LIVE ORDERS page.
You can see despatch details by using either the DESPATCHED menu button or the WHERE'S MY ORDER menu button.

Deleting an order
There may be times when you need to delete an order altogether, for whatever reason.
On each order there is a DELETE button.
The system will ask you a number of times if you are sure, just to be on the safe side.

Finding some order details
Click on the "WHERE'S MY ORDER?" menu button.
Start by searching for the customer. (A number of customers may be found, according to your search.)
Clicking on the customer will show all orders for that customer, together with despatch details.

How far back can we go?
Every order is in the database from 6 MAY 2014 onwards.
